Is this for a first bike?

If not you may find it very underpowered, even for a cruiser.

If you like the styling and don't want performance, then it should make an ok first bike.

Can't comment on the specific model though, sorry.

My sisters got one and she seems quite happy with it. Might not be the fastest thing on the road, but she manages to keep up with 'the big boys'. Had it for a couple of years now and had no major problems.

Personally I don't like cruisers, and this seems a little small for my liking, but each to their own I suppose.

Awful build quality. My local dealer had one in for a service a little while ago, it looked like a 25 year old bike and it was 4 years old. Everything was corroded.

They rust like a bitch, go slowly, and don't handle.

Cheers for the tips guys, it is my first bike and it is the largest capacity bike i can ride, over here in Australia our licences go by CC's so you have 2 levels of bike licence. first being 250cc or lower and then its an open licence.

i have chosen this bike becuase i like the cruiser look and i don't need to get to 60mph in 3.5 seconds i just need to get where i am going, in comfort. i am 6'5" and i fit this bike well i am of solid build and the other bike i looked at in my price range were thin like a trail bike and weren't too comfortable, but these are. i won't have as much of a problem with rust or corrosion over here because we have a much warmer less wet climate.

cheers Aaron

Personally, I find trailies much more comfortable than cruisers. Infact, I think I find most bike styles more comfortable than cruisers.

Unfortunately you can't really tell with out going for long rides to get a good idea, and that's not so likely until you've owned a bike for a bit (and can blag goes on other people's bikes.)
