Required:
People in several areas to look at CBR600s in various garages and on peoples drives for me. I need to know the condition of them before I stump up the cash and actually get there myself.

One is in Enfield area. The post code is N9 8QB at a garage called Extreme Revs. 2001 Black CBR6. Need to know milage and general condition of the bike

One is in Lincoln area. Privately owned. 2000 Black w/ Red CBR6. Need to know milage and general condition of the bike. Will find out exact address tomorrow if someone can go for me.

One is in West Bromwich area. The post code is B70 9EL at a garage called Midland Bikes. 2001 Black CBR6. Need to know milage and general condition of the bike (thought it says there is slight damage to lower fairing and on the nose)

Also needed, if about, someone in Grimsby to check out a bike there for me. Will get the address if someone's about. Need an honest opinion about all these bikes before I contemplate parting with la moolah.

Let me know
Cheers Wink

Not many people will be willing enough to go look at a bike to inspect it when you'll be basis your decision to buy on that. You'd be better to ask people if they can view them for you to see if it is worth you going to see it to decide if it's a good buy.

From my reading of Mantzy's post that is exactly what he is asking people to do.

I think it's a good step up personally.
I had no problem going from a 125 to a sports 600, they're still easy to control if you take it easy they just have the extra power there for when you want to have a bit of fun Wink
So long as you take it easy till you've got the hang of the bike I don't think it'll be a problem.

I nearly stepped up from a 125 to a 400 but in the end decided against it and got a 600. Very glad i did because i think i'd have outgrown the 400 too quickly. Few people I know who got 400's after 125s are already regretting it and looking to get a 600 a few months down the line.

Yes, that was my plan too, but I think I'll be glad to have a 600. Plus, I'll be commuting a lot so need something that will be able to cope with being beaten day in and day out

Did exactly the same thing myself, went from my RS125 to a CBR600 and it's been a great experience. I think the CBR was perfect for the job too, plenty of power for a novice and is very forgiving. I'm with R1_Lad on the 400 front, I'm already looking for more power myself, glad I didnt opt for the VFR
