This bit worries me....

Wotcha.

Why ?
If I have something to sell, I've got no objection to the purchaser taking my photograph.
Should I go to buy something, and the seller doesn't want their photograph taken, then I buy elsewhere. Better to be offended, than ripped off.

I was talking more about the payment in Bankers Draft advice that was also given (a common method of scamming people out of their bike I believe) - I have no problem with having my photo taken either.

bankers drafts are no safer than regular cheques and can still be stopped/ cancelld and are still as open to being forged....

Paper money, nothing else, theres no point risking it is there?

If anyone can't pay by the above then they can eithert come back when they can or don't come back at all Middle Finger same goesifthey wanted a test ride i'm affraid, if they don't have the money then how were they planning on buying it?

Sometimes you havedo do or say things that mightmake you unpopular, buti wouldn't let anyone i didn't 100% know wander off with a wad of cash on the promise they will be back after takeing it for a walk :/

No, they are definitely safer than cheques. Banker's drafts are guaranteed, whereas a cheque doesn't actually clear for about six months (can still be cancellled even after the money has been in your account and spent by you after several months - there was a thread on here about it recently and some publicity about it in the papers as well.
As long as it is not a forged copy, there iare no doubts a bankers draft will clear from the moment you are given it.

Who can tell a forged bankers draft from a real one upon casual inspection?

who's to say the real owner of the banker's draft wasn't bopped on the head by the person actually gicing it to you? Have you asked for proof of I.D. that the person giving it to you is the person who's bank account it was produced from?.....and therefore cancelled as soon as the original owner comes to again and informs his bank of being bopped on the head....
