Can anyone tell me the easiest way to change my fork oil please?.
I have no damping at all and is pretty dangerous at speed.

Loosen the fork tube cab, remove the forks from the bike, remove fork tube cap then just pour the oil out. The spring, spacer and perhaps a washer will also come out. Pump the fork to get the oil out, you should be able to get rid of it like that.

Then refill, without the spring/spacer etc, with the specified amount of correct oil. Then shove the spring etc back in. I went up a grade to 15 weight oil when I did the forks on my NSR.

Check there is not a drain plug at the bottom of the fork, because if there is there is no need to ake the forsk off the bike which will make the job 100% easyer...

But if the oil is dissapearing then you have knackered seals (check them because your just going to have to do it all again otherwise!) oil will loose its dampening after a while though..

If you do have to take the fork appart then be VERY carefull takeing the top plug off, its under the force of a big ass spring underneeth, you dont want your face to be the thing that stops it flying accross the garrage...

You really will need a (owners?)manual and a torque wrench to do this job properly, if you dont have either then save youtrself the danger and hassle and get a mechanic to do it...

Just to add, if the springs are removed make sure they go back in the correct way up, some springs are closer wound at one end.
