Cant remember exactly but….
Try the front headlight fairing, undo the side screws and put it on there.
The chain guard mounts can be used, I had to ad a few washers and a spacer to the RG.

Hope this helps Thumbs Up

To be legal it should be on the left hand side of the bike, forward of your leg.

To be honest you can mount it where the fcuk you want and plod wont mind as long as the bike is taxed.

yep, what robin said, it should be on the left hand side...

try to keep it visible but hidden from where it might get rained on, would it be possible to mount it on the faring? behind plastics but still visible to a traffic copper...

just make sure its not on a torqued bolt like frame blots e.t.c. rear peg bolt perhaps?

My friends one is so hidden even he has trouble finding it, but hes also got a lot of illegal things on his bike, like a racing exhaust that u can hear him coming from like 2 miles away, but if u want to be a law abiding citizen put it on the left hand side at the front, ive actually got a space for it on my frame where its ment to be so im alright.

Thats o.k, but be aware that it might rotate round and chip the paint/scratch the polish on the swing arm.

Personally I have always put my tax under my pillion seat, after having a tax disc nicked, and to date I have never had any problems with the law.

If (when!) I get stopped they generally ask where your tax is, and you can either just tell them, or show them, explaining why it's under there.

You would have to come across a particularly arsey copper to enforce the 'on view' thing

On the little aprilia I fitted a similar one using the barcket holding the exhaist on, the one on the CBR has been fitted on the front hugger mounting screws (not by me and not my choice) and that has marked the paint!

Thats actually a really good idea... you could always get an old knackered holder, break it and if they ask say it fell off and you luckly found it again, and that you will put it on when you get home Razz
