I have just taken the zx6 in for its 7500 service and they loaned me a z750. What a hoot. Last naked bike I rode was a bandit and hated it but this is something totally different. Tons of power and handles like a dream. A bit drafty at speed but around town its a great bike.
If any of you get offered a test ride on one I suggest you have a go.

The dealer was telling me Kawasaki have re-aligned their prices this week.
Looks like some nice discounts are on the way.

I was going to trade my zx in for the new 2005 model after Xmas but may now opt for a B2 if its heavily discounted.

Well you can get the B2 model for roughly £5500 new at the moment. Maybe it'll drop further. It's my plan to get one of these. Besides it looks better than the 2005 model anyway I think.

If i was to go naked...
That'd be the bike i'd want to ride naked on Wink

Nice bikes, love the headlight it reminds me of an ants head (anyone else see that, or am I just a nutter?). Looks a bit like a Benelli TNT. I'd imagine it would be great fun to ride.

I'll just have to make friends with someone who owns one so i can get a go on one, anyone on here...? Razz

The Z750/Z1000's scream hooligan on board! Laughing I love them. If I were to go to a naked street bike, the thou would be on my list for sure. Thumbs Up I see what you're saying about the head lights R1_lad, kind of reminds me of an angular version of my GSX600F too.

If I was to go naked, I'd probably just take the faring off my Gixxer and call it a day. Thumbs Up Mr. Green

I've been trying to persuade the missus to get an SV650 or an FZ6 for quite some time now. Alas, she has her heart set on a 2005 or '06 Mustang GT. Embarassed

I quite fancy a Z750 next year, but even the CB250 tries to tear my head off if there's a strong headwind Smile Do you reckon the funny grooves on the top of the headlight offer any wind protection as Kwak claim?

Street bikes is the way the market is shifting - at last the manufacturers are realising that if they make a quality naked bike with a good engine, brakes and handling then people WILL buy them.

I considered one of these, they were a few reviews that remarked about the bouncy suspension, overall opinion was very good and a bargin price - even so I went and bought an Apriia Tuono instead.

The wind blast is a sort of advantage -it keeps your speeds down which will hopefully save your licence. On normal A roads I don't notice the lack of protection - if you did a lot of long distance motorway riding then I expect you would suffer
