Two crappy job days wages just to be able to do the test?! That's damned expensive. I doubt it'll encourage people to pass their test the first time so they don't have to pay the extra penalty, rather I think it's just a way to cover up shortfalls in Government budgets. (Hmmm and what have they been spending it on? I wonder...)

Yikes!

I paid £45 for my test in 2001 and I though that was steep! Its just bloodt ridiculus now!

Even £20.50 to sit the theory test is a bloody lot, and a £5.50 jump from three years ago!

Thats hardly any more than its costs now. I don't think the extra fiver is going to kill anyone.

And any 125 riders that complain, this is why we instruct people to do their tests ASAP. Its always getting a little harder and a little more expensive to get your full licence.
