Today on the way to college i somehow managed to make the back wheel slip out going round a roundabout. Even though i was only going about 20mph i somehow managed to bend the handlebars and yokes, broke the indicators and the front break lever, And bend the foot break beyond recognition. I'm not hurt much, just a busted knee and hip.

So today has been very crap. Thumbs Down

kinda what I did, you'll be hobbling for a few days, then you'll feel stupid.

Hope the damage is easily fixable, all depends on your choice of bike in the first place I guess...

I had to ride home with no breaks and twisted handle bars.

nasty - sorry to hear that.

As always, you can fix a bike ..... little consolation I know, but could have been worse.

The worst bit was watching the cars drive over all the parts that had come off.

Also, no-one stopped to see if i was ok!

I'm real sorry to hear about your accident. I did an accident and ended up with the same injuries. The pain should go away in two days, but your knee wont heal for quite some time. Best regards.

Was it a diesel spill? It sounds like it.

Bad luck.

Aw no, grieved to here that mate. I've had 3 crashes in the past year and the first on was exactly like that. Fortunatly, some nice guy on a beat up motocross bike stopped and helped me search for my clutch lever and lent me his mobile to call my dad.

It would make me so angry if no one stopped Evil or Very Mad. What bike do you/did you ride?

And I thought that this:

Did you get your bike home ok, anyway? Hope it wasn't to mush of a misson for you. Get well mate. Smile
