RV MSX1

Seen this helmet on the intraweb and like the looks/idea of it.
Anyone know of any UK stockists?

& has anyone seen any reviews for it?
(Ithink there was one in MCN a week or two back, but my copy got binned)

Since I snapped the mirror mounts off my bike I carnt be arsed putting any horrid looking mirrors back on. Would rather splash out for one of these helmets & leave the mirrors off.

Yes, I've been on the look out for one of these too. The last I heard was January 05 before they are ready to be sold in the UK.

Datatool (Motorcycle Alarm company) are the UK distributer for this helmet. https://www.datatool.co.uk/reevudealers.asp

Hi, i tried one of these bad boys on at the bike show. To say it was weird is probably an understatement.

The actual reflective panel at the top of the visor is about 2cm deep, and looks rather plasticky. Its more like a fake mirror than a normal one (prob a lot safer).

The actual event of looking behind you while looking forward seems a little disorientating, something that needs to get used to in the house rather than out on the bike.

All that reflectictve gubbins makes the helmet a bit tall too so not sure about how much noise it was gonna make.

Seemed pretty well knocked together and wasn't to heavy though, but I would remember that your looking at a design at the beginning and in the near future will be developed more - just like DVD players!!

Wink
