Went out for my (second ever!) ride around this morning, and was amused by a guy on an Aprilla of some sort (RSV/Mille/Factory whatever you call them) who seemed to want me to wheelie with him (which I couldnt). Also couldnt keep up with him around roundabouts.

Had my first experience of a BMW driver deciding to put his car where I am... Came onto a dual carriageway in a filter lane, in fareness I pinned it open, but a guy in the middle lane decided to move out without looking and then violently swerve back in when he realised how fast I was closing on him. If he hadnt swerved back in I would have hit him as I was braking pretty hard and still passed him quite fast.

Used half a tank of petrol Shocked

There are lots of idiots out there, to avoid them a bit more ride expecting everyone to do something stupid and allow a bit incase they do, most of the time people don't but when someone does you have allowed a bit more space/time for it.

Hmm, well having not sat on a bike for over seven months, I can safely say I am really missing having to get up early to ride to work in the shit weather and freezing conditions. Razz
Also not riding means no forking out for insurance, no filling the petrol up every few days, and no fixing things you've broken. Mr. Green
