Finally got the engine back from a workshop, one of the spark plug end thread bits snapped off. The engine had to be stripped down and the plug bit removed from the inside. It was a bit too much for me to do.

Got the engine back and it took me a good day to get it all in and hooked up, the engine is bloody hard to get and weighs a house. I only had a scissor jack to lift which kept on folding over so its was a bitch of a job.

Anyway got it all running and had a good blast on it earlier, the bike is much faster than what i was expecting. It just accelerates like mad and pulls to 140 very well Whistle , could have gone faster but i was cacking it. Very chuffed with the bike, also handles very well.

A good day for me, a part from i over tightened a banjo bolt which holds one of the hose so i have a slight crack in the bottom of the oil cooler Evil or Very Mad , put some resin over it and it only leaks very slowly. I've been watching the oil level very carefull and it doesn't look like it's gone down at all after 75 miles so i think it should be ok until i source a new one.

The cost was £120, they had to strip the top end down and also buy new gaskets and seals which was most of the cost.

I have a very (very) slight flat spot at the lower revs (about 4k) but after that my bike just revs out very fast. I have a 4-1 remus exhaust so that giving my bike an extra bit of umph.

I do have a dyno jet kit, K&N air filter and ignition advancer that i'm selling, all brand new. The parts should sort that flat spot out.
