As far as no protective gear goes, yes it's daft, but plently of people do it on big bikes as well whilst stunting (just have a look on StuntLife.com) and it's a generally acceted fact that lots of people stunt without protective kit, and it doesn't really get mentioned when people post bigger bike stunt videos.
