Does a bike need a chainguard to pass MOT?

So if the steering lock does not work it will fail?

Are you on about the "lock" as in key thing that doesn't make bugger all difference, or are you on about the "lock" thingy that determins how tight a circle you can turn?

Think the MOT would care about the 2nd lock,as in not anti theft devices.

i have never had either chain gaurds or steering lock, or ignition normally Laughing

Front SPROKET GAURD is necessary Thumbs Up

Yes i meant the security device which can be snapped in one yank.

Smoto do you mean i must have a guard covering the rear sproket?
