this will be my first half decent bike.
i would be very grateful if anyone can help.

1: on average, what speed will you get out of each of the gears. i ask this as i will be using the bike mostly round town and dont want to be constantly changing gears!
2: what is the difference between the ns125r, nsr125r and the nsr125rr.

thankyou in advance for your help, i am sure i had more questions than that, but i have forgotten them!Smile

Erm it depends on how you ride it.
if its de-restricted then you probably will get more speed per gear than
restricted.
but its a 2sqweek so you will be changing gears alot anyway.
NS125 is an older bike NSR125R is the current bike and NSR125RR is an
import (i think)

I'm not sure the exact speeds, but changing gear really isn'y much hassle... you only have to move your hand and foot slightly.
I rode accross the center of reading every day on a NSR125F and it was pretty good.. very slim especially with only one mirror. btw. the 'F' model are unfaired ones.
There are a fair few different NSR125R models the rk-rm are early 90's... not sure what designations the alter ones have.

NSR125 is the old model. NSR125RK to N including FM are all the same as dylans bike on the guests bike of nsr125.com. NSR125RP to W is the foxeye model, the newest type, same as korns or zims bike.
Hope this helps
