I am interested to know why this forum seems to be targetted on a fairly regular basis by researchers from TV looking for participants. Also this should be moved to Off-Topic Chat.

We come onto forums like this because the people who frequent them are normally opinionated, intelligent and have a passion. Something we like in TV land.
