Telling the examiner you slept with his wife last night.

At least not at the start of the test anyway........

Smacking off a car drivers wing mirror for cutting in with inches to spare, trying to race the instructor if he pulls alongside, physically assaulting a pedestrian for walking out on a green light...

Seriously though, screw your loaf and keep your eyes peeled and remember if you think what you're gonna do is a wrong 'un, it probably is.

Luck!

Speeding. Not that I can even break the NSL, but if I could I probably would on a daily basis.

These people have no interest whatsoever in signs of independent thought or intelligence, they just want to see how closely you can follow a book. Ride as they expect, not as you know makes sense. Thumbs Up

Bump start it backwards Very Happy true comedy. My mate did that to mine today. He bump started it pushing it backwards. Then he jumped on, down into first gear and as he pulled away, insead of the bike going forward it went backwards instead. Very funny and cool. Probabally bad for the bike but was still funny.

If you can do it on your test bike, go for it, id like to see the face of your instructor! lol

Faield my test for putting my foot down in a u turn, luckily despite doing it after passing my test I havn't had an accident caused by foot touching the road.

All the speeding, filtering and general illegal stuff but that goes pretty much go without saying.

Last time I did the test he told me ride around the block for the emergency stop, I got lost and ended up going up a dead end, where I did a Uey and dropped the bike. I was just laughing my head off under my helmet when I finally made it round to do the E-stop.

Always thought it was a "Rolling burnout", assume you mean doing a sort of 180 burnout to turn the bike round?

One of our local driving examiners (with whom I am about to go for a pint) told me a story of a lad who was doing his test on a TS125. When he came to the emergency stop, the lad gave it a huge handful of brake and pulled an enormous stoppie, he then held it on the balance point for about three seconds before bringing it back down.

Jim says he really wanted to pass him because the control he had of the bike was truly impressive but he had to fail it. If word got out he would have lost his job.

They are not all arseholes, Jim is the nicest fellow you could hope to meet and races classic bikes, he finished the Manx in 13th this year so he knows the score. I have been on rideouts with him and he messes about just as much as the next man. He ragged his CBX500 so hard one time that the fuel boiled in the carb and it cut out, but when he is taking a test, it has to be by the book.

Yeah, somehow I think you would fail. Unless they took into account the skill of doing it and let it go, highly unlikely though.
