Well the time came to sell the bike, so i rode it 60 miles into newcastle to drop it off to a fellow bcf'er

and now i am back home and i miss it now,

i miss its little headlight and not so little indicators,

i miss its little sewingmachineesq (new word) engine

and now i am left without a bike to ride Sad

well untill sunday when i pick up my ER-5 Smile

I made him walk. Laughing

Actually, his mate drove up with him and ran him back. The generous soul that he is only charged me £40 as well.

But at least he got to ride the bike on one last adventure!

If you went the direct route... the A1(M) (or A19) must be a wonderful ride on a 125 in December... I've had the dubious pleasure of that ride a few times Confused

i joined the a19 near osmotherly and came off after the tyne tunnel so like 57 miles of the journey was on the a19 so was pretty easy, and i had my mate following me in his mums car (we must have looked gay as it was a ford puma)

I only charged £40 as it cost like £5 to fill my (ex) bike up and i put £20.08p worth of fuel in my mates car as a good will gesgure other wise his mum might not have been a happy bunny.

i had to cycle today Sad

How did you find the Tyne Tunnel? I'm not sure which is worse, the fume-induced dizziness or looking like a moron trying to dig some money out for the toll booth Smile

Laughing yes, i couldnt breathe wow the smog!

then when i reached the other end they wanted 20p for the pleasure Shocked

so i luckily had some £1 coins i gave one too the nice assistant (after fumbling with my cold hands , gloves and tight zippers on the pockets, then missed the coin bin, chucked another which did hit, fumbled my gloves back on etc whilst having 100,000 cagers waiting impatiently, fecking thing its not really worth the hassle for 20 friggin pence!

It will make you appreciate your er all the more Smile top tip - go buy some crash guards before you get it, i nearly dropped my brand spankin new bike yesterday Shocked

Did my DAS on an er-5 it was very nice, felt well built, more than enough power, all of it smooth, easy to handle and fairly light.

No need to ask what you will be doing all sunday then eh? got a route planned?
