Don't quite understand what you mean?

Riding no hands is easy... stand up on the pegs too, that's cool hehe Cool

I've been known to do 90% of a rideout with my left arm off the bar too lol.. just stick it in 3rd, then who needs to change gear? Twisted Evil

Push down on the peg, the way you want to go...

Altho last time I done this on the R6, I found myself veering off towards the kerb, although, I was standing completely upright on the pegs and think I was leaning to the left a bit Laughing

Why do you want to go around corners with no hands, anyway? Laughing

Never really done it mate, was riding today with my left arm off the bar whenever possible as it's still phucked and after a while starts aching.

To be honest mate, I wouldn't risk chancing it in case something did happen and I ended up coming off.

Do it all the time whilst riding, but only really when its quiet and I'm going down a slight gradient. As you say, only the slightest movement of your body will change the direction of your body. When I first done it a week ago, I was going well over to the left, but now can keep it perfectly central. Go left or right whenever.

Much more fun perfecting the blip of the throttle when down changing. Works to great effect when smoothing out changing down.

Just need my new exhaust to arrive to make better sound out of doing it Wink

You wanna change lanes/direction fast use couter-steer.

It's saved my skin a few times, and its good for turning fast Thumbs Up

Oh whlile we're on the subject of weight distribution.

In the wet if you hang off, (to reduce the lean angle of the bike), it's quite effective. Thumbs Up

You don't really want to do it on a full-on sports bike. The rake angle is too sharp (front wheel tucked in under the bike) which makes the bike turn sharply but also tends to make the steering flop from side to side easily. You are asking for a tank slapper...and if your hand isn't on the throttle to gas out of it Neutral

Even the worlds best riders have difficulty with this. Watch the finish of the WSB, they ride around and wave both arms in the air to celebrate a win then suddenly have to snatch at the bars to stop it going over.

Now a trailie is a different matter entirely. As Yams says, push down on the peg on the side you want to go and roll your hips in the same direction.

I think it's quite fun but never do it cause knowing my luck the peelers will see me cruising down with no hands swerving left and right.

Hehe, I used to crank it up to about 50 at work, kick it into neutral and then grab my phone out of my pocket to check a text or a missed call. The car drivers faces when some guy on a bike drifted past fiddling with his phone was classic.

Warning: This should only be attempted by idiots like me.

I always thought you counter-steer anyway when cornering, I noticed myself doing it today.

Yuppie!

I have been known in some of my arsing about moments to overtake cars whilst sitting on the pillion seat hanging on to the grab-rail. I am older and wiser now though. That was on my GPZ500s which has quite a long wheelbase and is pretty stable at speed.

as you lean it does turn the bars, countersteering itself

weld the headstock up and lock the front wheel straight, no matter how much you lean you won't move it from straight ahead

I often sit up and ride with one hand, just work out the stiffness of the back/wrists although people do give me funny looks when I do this overtaking them and waving at thier children Laughing

What would the penalty be if old bill spotted you with one hand on the bars? Gotta be undue care and attention surely?

No hands = engine braking brings me to a rapid halt and the engine will stall... Confused How fast are you going before you do this?

If you're in a higher, less responsive gear you can comfortably have the throttle shut without any engine braking. Handy for when going through town on the RS and wanting to avoid being noisy.

Really? For just having one hand off? Confused I spent huge amounts of time riding 1 handed, I guess getting caught riding no handed wouldn't be looked on too positively then... Thinking
