Hi

I need a new set of chain and sprockets, I have looked at previous posts and the standard sprocket size is said to be 14 front and 35 back. But I also need a chain, what size chain should I get because measuring mine is pointless because its so stretched.

Thanks

Hi guys

Ive been looking for chain and sprockets for a while now on the internet, and aparently Renthal only make steel sprockets for our bikes.

But there is none in stock, so they offered me JT sprocckets and a Gold Renthal O ring chain for £73 postage and packaging.

I have also phoned my local garage who say a D.I.D chain and dont know what sprokets (probably standard) for £60.

But I dont know what I should go for?
Any suggestions?

Hi

An O ring chain is far better for wear. They are not so easy wrecked by failing to oil them, as their real wearing surfaces are sealed by the O rings. However they do absorb slightly more power than a non O ring chain

All the best
