Not unless he had his registration number written on his forehead.

Front facing camera's are great, give them the old Middle Finger as you go past three times the speed limit... great fun.

Exaggerated slightly but seriously dont worry about it, only if you go past it every day and it takes photo's will someone come and sit behind it and copy down your Reg... other than that they cant get bikers at all... ever.

Oh and as for looking at the camera...

It will never ever hold up i am sure, my own mother can barely recognise me in a helmet, you seriously dont need to worry about that.

Even open faced ones obscure the face enough to never be held against you. And unless he keeps doing it at high speeds.. no one will care anyways.

But if they stop you straight away then I believe they then have photo, you. That's enough.

Yeah...

so basically it isnt a problem since he wasn't nicked.

And nor will it ever be a problem for bikers and front facing camera's...

unless you suspect that curious looking bloke sitting bolt upright in the front seat of the ford mondeo behind the camera with an odd looking contraption pointed at you might be a copper...

This is of course assuming he doesn't have signwriting stating his name and telephone number accross the front of his helmet or the fairing of his bike...which happened with one of the PB magazine long term test bikes a few years ago.

My other half used to pass through the same front facing speed camera on his way to work at the same time every day. He did this for about 6 months. He used to purposefully speed up through it with a finger in the air. I expected to see a copper hid round a corner one day, but there never was. I think your hubby will be fine Wink

Uh yeah in extreme cases they may try and identify you via clothing etc, but they would not bother for a minor offence - as it would be too hard if you have a common bike.

Make sure the tax disk is attached to the rear of the bike, or obscured by hugger/forks. If so, he should be fine!

I'm sure he will be fine.
Front faced camera's aren't as bad as the ones that take your picture when you've gone past em.
Damn laws.

Why are you posting for him? Is he hiding in case we see his face?

O/T I terrified one of my poor little Brownies by saying "Hello there Abi! How's your sister?" when I was still in my helmet... She went white and ran! Embarassed

Sissy - your husband will be just fine! As has been said, there is no way they can either find him without the registration number of the bike or proove that it was him.

By their own laws The Police can't d you without un-refuteable evidence, like a number plate. AFAIK even if they catch you after they'd have to prove without a doubt that it was you, not someone with the same gear.
