Am l in the Clear?

Nearly a month ago on the 13/11/04 l was flashed by a gatso camrea doing 50-60mph in a 30 limt on the out skirts of brighton, since then l have not recived a NIP or any other form of proscustion and with it now being nearly dobule the 15 days which l hear is the time they have to send the NIP to me. does this mean l got away with it?

I've been said by my friend that sometimes they run out of film and then they become useless - they flash you, but no record left. Eh?

I've been said they flash twice in that case... May be thats true and thats ur case? Thinking

You're only really in the clear if 6 months have elapsed from the date of the event and you haven't received anything. The law only requires that the police send the registered keeper a NIP within 14 days of the offence by first class post. As long as they can prove they posted it, the fact that you didn't receive it means nothing. Though normally, as long as your address details are correct with DVLA you'd expect to get a reminder if the original NIP got lost.
