ok, i put my bike in a local garage to have the fork seals changed and new oil in em, called up today and the bloke said its ready, but did you know the engine mounts arnt in properly and some bolts are actually missing?
i shat my self and got down there sharpish to find that he thought that the space where i had my r&g crash bung in was an engine mount.

im now worried that he isnt too bright

Nice...but you can't go too far wrong with conventional forks...just be thankful that you don't have the more exotic RVF Wink.

Not quite sure what's the situation is, but the R&G mushrooms usually do go in engine mounts, so if you don't have them in you are missing bolts from an engine mount.

I dunno about the rvf, but the rs250 upside down forks have been the easiest forks I've worked on.

Nah, on the NC30 the R&G mushrooms go in the oil cooler mounts (on the engine), which are redundant on jap import models.
