Please note, This event took place LAST WEEK!

Bloody press, can they get nothing right!! Evil or Very Mad

I saw this in the Portsmouth News last night:

BIKER'S TOY RUN TO CHILDREN'S HOMES

Children's homes will get an extra special delivery this Christmas, thanks to motorcycle riders.

Bikers will deliver toys to youngsters at Lightfoot Lawn Children's Home, Eastney, Seaways Children's Home, Milton, Portsmouth and Naomi House Children's Hospice in Sutton Scotney.

Riders from various clubs will set off from the White House, Golsdsmith Avenue, Milton, on Sunday, about 10:30am.

Tony Burgham, 52, of the south coast centre branch of the Suzuki Owners' Club (GB) said: "The riders will bring toys or money to contribute to toys for the children, and we've got donations from one or two businesses.
'The toy run is a little way of trying to make their lives a little bit better."

I'm hoping to go on this myself. And if anyone would like to come along I'll see you at the pub.

Thanks,

Zephyrgirl

PS It won't be just for Suzukis, 'cos I'm going on the Kawasaki. BUT if it is just for Suzukis.........My b/f will just have to give me his brand new GSX 1400 for the day!! Very Happy

PPS Although he'll probably make me take the ancient (27 year old) GS550E that's in pieces in the garage! Crying or Very sad
