Hello all,
first time at this so here goes.I have recently fitted a Yoshimura RS5 race can to my CBR600rr along with a K & N air filter,i am looking for a second opinion as to wether i need to put the bike on a dyno or not,it has been mentioned that i dont need to unless i go the next stage & put a power commander on. Any thoughts please.

A dyno set up should sort out the power curve a bit and you'll probably get a lot better 'value for money' as far as the performance goes in comparison to what you paid for the can.

If it's just an end can it's probably claimed to work fine with standard fuel settings.

[edit; just realised it's a fuel injected bike, so I presume you can't actually change the fueling without a power commander or similar.
If that's the case, not worth bothering unless you intend to get one really.]

Hi

Chances are it does need some setting up on a dyno, but you cannot do this without something like a Power Commander.

All the best
