Hi all, was wondering has anyone recently had a Honda CB500 black with half fairing on a L plate stolen from them,in the London area?.or do you know anyone.
The reason i'm asking is because where i work (a large housing estate) a stolen one has been abandoned. My firm has informed the police(as usual) but they don't seem interested Rolling Eyes the only other option we have is to leave it on the streets, and inform the local council but by then the local kids will get hold of it and torch it as they do with most stolen bikes/peds.
let me know asap please as i can only keep it in storage a short time.

What I don't understand is why the Police aren't interested. If its stolen they would be interested, if its been abandoned they they probably wouldn't.

CB500 with L plate I'd guess is likely to belong to a training school, I assume it doesn't have any stickers etc on it but if there is details of the garage who sold it on the bottom of the number plate it'd be worth calling them about it.

If you dont get any reply off the police within a certain time, your allowed to keep it?

If so sell it on ebay as a stolen/recovered.
