I saw at Infinity you can buy velcro pads which you stick onto your jeans and put kneesliders on. Has anybody used these?? I thought they would be quite good for kneedown action on the way to college without having to wear leather trousers.

I've heard their shité. They don't stay in place so you can't rely on them at all.

My advice is to leave knee down untill decent weather, and decent equipment.

I wouldn't consider using them on demin jeans, doesn't it remove the entire point of wearing demin jeans? I normally wear jeans when I don't want to be wearing bike kit when I get there, so sticking bits of velcro on the knees would be kind of counter-productive surely?

Have used them on my textiles fine.

Oh yeah, Infinity Motorcycles? Take your money to a company whose MD isn't a twat. Thumbs Up

I could just imagine the look on the faces of some of the teachers as I kneedown round the corner into college...

I've already had comment from one of them about filtering past the mini-bus on the way back from a bowling trip!

*not that I've got my knee down yet... or have any sliders

I have used these on an old pair of winter leathers that did not have kneesliders. I have had no problems with them at all and the glue on the back sticks like shit to a shovel first time so make sure you position them right.

Not sure they will work with denim though as its a lot more porous than leather and would probably look naff anyway.
