Just literally 5 minutes ago on my way home from school i had just gone around a r roundabout and cam to a zebra crossing, there were lots of people so i thought id stop and let them go. Im going about 10 miles an hour because i had just done the roundabout and its quite a slippery roundabout any ways coming up to this zebra crossing i start to easy on the front break... What the hell i look down and my fronts going all over the place, so i put two feet down and stabilize my self, i ended up positioned to the side of the road my bike diagonal on the road and getting some weird looks from the pedestrians crossing.

I just cant believe how stupidly slippery it was.

sorry if you have heard thisn 10000000 times

Sounds like you fell foul of a diesel spill there jamie. Unless there was ice about or you were on white markings, the road shouldn't be THAT slippery.

Yeah, hit some odd oily patches that were disguised by water. Good for quite a surprise. Also, wet grass is pretty damned slippery as well. Embarassed

Wet grass is fun, not dangerous, as when do you do speed on wet grass.

Just had a slip too going into college after lunch. The front was steering, but the rear wheel was out. Watch out for the leaves on the road. Just as likely to stack your bike as you would on diesel. It's cool feeling your rear slide!

Slipped yesterday turning into another road, back end came out, managed to stay calm and hold it though.

I VERY nearly lost the back end turning out of my road today, just a little too much throttle, with a combination of cold tires and slippery crap on the road.

I swift stamp downwards brough me back, but I was shi**ing myself for a while there.

Thanks.

Bin is the universally accepted term for lowsiding, so is stacking used in the same context? I thought stacking it was running into something forwards. Confused Anyway, most of these things mean lowsiding. Looping is going over the back from a wheelie, flipping is going over the front from a stoppie, normally speaking anyway.
