Well today i took my can off for a bit of fun, It gave me an idea:

Would it be possiable to fit one of these removable baffles:

Into the downpipe for my exhaust?

To what end?

Zimm's Storm had bugger all engine braking without end cans, so I hate to think what it'd do to a smaller 4 Smile. (Was bloody loud though Smile )

I have run my ZXR without a can, and it sounds gorgeous.. dont know if its bad for it though.

My advice to you, is by 4 of them, and put on into each manifold pipe if you are going to do it Smile theyll be to small to fit into the final downpipe Razz that'll give you the right back pressure too.

reckon its looks arse with no can, and like G mentions will mess up whatever engine braking you once had, i ran my CBR250 without a can on the drag strip one day, just for the noise, and it was awesome, but it would destroy your sanity if you did it everyday

i can however recommend just getting a decent can for it, zims zxr sounded quality with his blue flame on it, back in the day...

IMO it would look nice without the can, but you may have difficulties getting the baffle to fit well?

I know Rolling Eyes Smile

If it's gonna mess up your bike, don't bother. Stick a race can on it instead, I just recon it looks wicked without the can.

Can’t sacrifice performance/usability for looks now can we? Wink
