Laughing

You do realise you will have to have your bike setup for that air filter!

Shame you were not informed on that before you brought it, with a new air filter i believe you have to get it re-jetted or something to balance the petrol and air intake, if your bike doesnt run properly try and get some air filter in a big square and cut it up and try and fill the filter with it. A friend did that so it might be worth a shot.

K&N look-a-likes often work just as well as the proper ones unless your engines tuned right to the limit. To be honest I quite like them as they do actually make a difference from stock filters, unlike a lot of other stuff that ped-bois tend to use.

Ive got a Cone filter (fake K&N) on my scooter and I dont see myself as "Ped Boi" style. Its a stage 1 upgrade dude!
They also look and sound better than the air box... Just take it easy in the wet, They like to act like a sponge and suck up the water causing bike to die...

When jetting a ped for an air filter, going up about 8 sizes is the norm, e.g 72 main jet as standard, so you would try and 80.

Just buy an air filter. Not expensive, and no worrying about the mix.

You might be fine with that filter, or it might run lean. Lean makes the engine run hot and increases the risk of it seizing, and also gives you less power, in particular noticeably worse acceleration.

Unless you're doing some serious tuning/engine upgrades I can never see the point in 'performance' air filters etc... After all the manufacturer designed the bike to perform at it's optimum with the standard air filter, any change from that (except serious tuning) can only be a bad thing in my opinion.
