...you got a small amount of grease mixed in with your fork oil (or any other oil)??


Having problems fitting my fork seal :/

all oils, grease and rubber components are either mineral based or synthetic based, so if the fork oil is synthetic the seals are synthetic but the grease is mineral the seals will swell and fook up very shortly.

otherwise I can't imagine that an extremely small smear to aid fitment would hurt, but you might be better using fork oil as the lubricant.

fork oil preferably but grease could be good as it will stay put
