Yeh you can use a push bike one... just make sure you get a wired one as the wireless ones get messed about by the em fields generated by the engine/electrics. A proper motorbike one's gonna cost loads more than a push bike one. I got a 'panaroma' (or somethin like that) for my NSR, just over £40 from halfords: it's got 4 seperate screens so you can have a clock/trip counter showing as well.

cheers G, do u think its worth putting one one? i can get a bike one for 20 quid, are they acurate? only trouble would be if i got pulled by the pigs they would look at my top speed and seeing as the max speed limit here is 40 i would be a bit biusted, that nad if my dad looks at it he would have a heart attack.
has n e 1 else fitting a digital speedo?

Mine didn't work quite as well as i hoped, there was a bit too much 'lag' at slow speeds because it can only measure once per revolution of the wheel... but in general I've heard good stuff about them.
As for the top speed 'It's from when I rode off road last week officer, honest!'

Its on the must do list for my Speedfight 100. I think that digi speedos are worth having, as not only do they record speed accurately, but they do two vital functions that my Peugeot dash doesnt.
Tell the time, and record the trip distance.
Then theres all the average speed, max speed, riding time, and so on.

I would then rather not put one on :o Cos if my parents see me doing the speeds ive been doing Wink they would sell my bike Crying or Very sad And we cant have that now. They would make me ride a Honda Rebel( Slow as hell).

i havent got a digi speedo
but i have got a digi rev counter it looks really good i jus cut a whole in the spongy stuff above my clocks and slotted it in above them its a sightly curved black thing with 15 lights on it but it dosnt tell you when your red lining it simply tells you when to change gear to get optimum power outta the engine, so if you get one dont go rippin out your analogue counter :0
