What bikes are allowed on track on test days?

Basically, I am in the process of obtining my race licence at the moment, but was wondering about test days, like at Mallory on a Wednesday afternoon.

I hear you are allowed to test any bike on track, road or race, as long as you have a race licence. Is this correct?

I don't believe they have any scroot's, so no one to check.

You will be expected to have your bike in a decent state though.

I last saw pictures in one of the bike magazines, they were testing road bikes there, that's what got me wondering. Sounds like good practice for the bigger bikes with my road going TL1000R. not lock wired or anything, but it should be fine, as long as i ride within my limits and don't crash! Smile

I know that for the car session in the morning pretty much anything with 4 wheels and a motor is allowed out (within reason) including home made karts & buggies, so can't think why they wouldn't let you use your road bike for the bike session.
