Are they comfortable enough to wear all day? My thoughts of them would be that they would be too hot and sweaty for during summer if you were sat around in them.
Definitely agree that they look better than textiles but then if you were taking the textiles off when you got to work it wouldn't really be an issue. I imagine textiles would be more waterproof and windproof too.
Also to anyone who owns any, I like my Jeans to be loose fit so they have more room around the crotch, normal jeans seem to squeeze me a bit down below , are they tight around the crotch? ____________________ :: Honda XR 125 L ('53) => Kawasaki GPZ 500S ('02) => Suzuki SV650S ('00) => Aprilia RSV-R ('51) :: |

Friend has a pair, he loves them so much he even wears them when not on the bike. He prefers them over leathers in summer for meets etc, much better for down the pub too.
They are however out of my price range, I'll just wear my leathers.. I don't really get hot anyway... I'm like a lizard ____________________ Insta - FemFeral |

I have a pair of Draggin Jeans, which unfortunately i have crash tested, they did what they said on the tin, the kevalar underneath was unscathed even though the denim got shredded, They also ripped on the beltline, and i have done no repairs to them since and they are still going strong, The stitching is of very good strength imo as the rip has not gotten any larger, infact i am wearing them now, at 2:17 am, and have been all day, under waterproofs, sitting around.
Cant say much about hood jeans as i havent worn them, but i hear good things, i personally dont like the drainpipe cut they seem to have, draggin's are reasonably baggy, but are SLIGHTLY tight on the old groin, maybe thats coz i have a massive cock though
I can highly recommend draggin jeans, and will be buying another new pair and retiring this pair asap |

i have a pair of draggin traffics, they are very much like normal jeans, and I do wear them around all day in uni etc, and they are comfy. Worth the 80quid, as they offer me some protection and stop me looking like a muppet walking round campus wearing textile trousers. I do actually treat them like a normal pair of jeans and wear them here and there... they look good with converses (TART!) ____________________ 1989 CG125 - Childhood Sweetheart (she got kidnapped by baddies)

I seem to have good votes about both ranges. All my clothes tend to be baggy(I range towards the skater look, but it isn't that practicle for a bike), i'll have a look around at Hood jeans, but from what I've seen they do have the "Drainpipe" effect as TheDonUK said. So by the looks of it the vote is going towards Draggin for me. Thanks for all the great reviews to everyone. Looks like I know what my next paycheck is going on ____________________ Name:Dan

Yep 2 pair of draggins here myself but if im goin on an energetic ride its leather for me.
A mate came off in draggins and he lost a pocket off them but no skin.
Also very comfy if you get the right size for you.
I have a looser pair for wearing work pants underneath.
Have a tighter pair for just normal around town stuff.
They have my vote ____________________ meh |

I don’t know if Hein Gericke still make a pair of denim motorcycle jeans for around £50? My mother bought a pair many years ago since she hated the leather for everyday motorcycling. She said the denim was perfect for everyday use compared to all the alternatives.
I bought a pair of denim motorcycle jeans from https://www.jsaccessories.com/ for £40 they are identical to normal denim jeans except they have Kevlar stitched in every ware except below the knee. This makes the jeans look like normal jeans and feel similar. The cut is full width or something (you can fit 2 legs down each trouser leg). I ended up getting Velcro stitched at the end of each trouser leg (so it acts like bicycle clips) to stop them flapping in the wind.

They have several stores around the country and do mail order.
The Hein Gericke are much heaver and more reinforced in places on the outside, if you do not see them in the store, ask (they may be available to order). |
