ive recently put a jolly moto xhaust system on to my nsr,
after riding in the wet a couple of times it has gone rather rusty Sad .

any ideas on how to stop this??

High temp black paint, or buy a stainless steel exhuast.

yea i fort bout painting it black. bt wen its not rusty its a nice colour. is there a sort of heat resistant clear paint??

u will never get that clear look with the welding marks showing though back again just sand the rust and paint it black thats wat i had 2 do with my mito arrow pipe

get a wire brush and get it all off (as much as humanly possible) then sand paper it down then put high temp paint on as said above Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up member to get off ALL rust essential!!!

Yeh but he'll never get all the welding marks back etc, so it won't look the same as before. Plus high-temp clear isn't usually as good as the black anyway.
