Doubt an RS125 would make it from Brighton to the M1 Razz

Mmmm, nice slimy motorway slip roads, streun with diesel at this time of year. Whereabouts is junction 27 anyway?

It's the junction that goes onto Mansfield Road. Just North of Nottingham.

Junction 26? You must be mad!

Junction 27 - M1 - Just north of Nott's, between Nottingham & Derby, Junction with the A608.

The picture below shows junction 27, the yellow section of road is always empty and is on a nice hill. The big red X indicates a dead end stub of road where we all park up when there!

Oh you're playing on the motorway roundabout and the small on on the new entrance to what used to be the Kodak site. It all makes sense now... I used to use that junction twice a day for years, never actually done it on a bike though, but I can see the attraction!

Indeed. Not so bothered about the main Motorway island now though, as you have to build loads of speed to get your knee down and if someone pulls out, you ain't got much time. Especially when the grass is really high on the central splitter islands, then car drivers can't see you! The other two islands are the dogs dangleys!

On a wednesday evening after MFN bike meet or on a saturday/sunday around 4pm, when loads of people are there, it's great. Loads of chat, lots of riding, and of course, knee down practice when there's no cars around! What more can you ask for? Awesome!

Check out the link in my signature, it's a site based around the bikers who go there. Just needs filling! Enjoy!

I prefer J47 myself, usually empty and it's great for stuffing surebikes on the GPZ with my knee down round the outside Very Happy
