Its old news now i'm sure about Kawasaki replacing the old zzr600 in the US with a new one based on the previous zx6r, but what I really want to know is are they thinking of doing the same over here?

I very much doubt Kawasaki would do that over here, as the ZZR600 is considered a tourer more than a sports bike, were as in the US the ZZR is considered a very good first sports bike.

Both of which are very different catagories, and the old ZX6R was never very touristy so I doubt they will.
And I hope they don't as I personally love the look of the current ZZR.

That bike looks lovely, would make a fantastic sports tourer. Definatly the type of bike i would love to own some day! Very Happy

It is!! This pic is of the uk zx6r (one before it became the track tool it is now)

Don't look any different to me......

(Nice colour don't you think! - same as my late gpz500s before it got ruined on the 13th this month....)

Horses for courses really the ZZR is good in the US because the next town is normally 50 miles away not 5! Sports bikes could be a real pain in the butt unless you intend staying local. Laughing Laughing
