I'm moving to cambridge in the new year, and am intending getting back on two wheels..

In 6 - 8 weeks, I should be getting a wedge of cash, with which I'll be paying off a LOAD of debts, and hopefully have enough left over to get myself a bike.

I'm looking to spend no more than £2k, and am considering the following machines, or alternatives.

Keep yer eyes peeled for anything that might be suitable, and I'd appreciate a shout. beers might well be oweing for a decent lead.

shortlist (in no particualr order of prefernce):

Cagiva Raptor 650
Ducati Monster 600/750
Suzuki Bandit 600
Suzuki SV650

or something similar (you get the idea)

I'm not overy concerned about condition, as long as it runs (and is legal), and is priced accordingly.
