Hi All,

I've just re-registered as I was "bad karma'd" off for mentioning the stuff below too often. So, please bear with me, read the stuff below and make up your own minds. I notice someone posted a thread about the site and it didn't receive very favourable reviews. It's not supposed to be ebay, it's just a site designed to help bikers.

So,can you ALL put your stuff on my auction site at https://www.bikebidder.com/index.php There's loads of gear on here at the moment, so it's worth a look.

We're getting around 500 hits a week at the moment (not great, but improving) and I've pledged 10% of our profits to the "adopt-a-racer" scheme.

As we're not getting a lot of gear on there at the moment I'm not able to give any money to them. All I want to do from this is make it successful and give money back to racers.

So, if you lot list yer stuff and sell it I'll donate ALL of the profit from the sales.

I'm not after making money out of this, well, enough to cover the cost of running the site,as Korn does running this site, so rest assured I am not trying to fleece any of you.

Take a look and give it some thought, it'll cost you NOWT to list so you've nothing to lose other than a little time.

Cheers All

Robin Very Happy

ps please don't rate this as spam as I won't be mentioning it again and I'd like to be able to contribute on other things. Ta.

Have you got yourself mentioned in any bike magazines?

That would be the first place I would try to start. Offering an introductory code for readers; enter it and get x% off listing fees for the first month.

So... if I get you lots of advertisers... will you give me some money for racing? Razz
(btw, I'm still pretty cynical of the 'bikers for bikers' thing, but do think there should be some alternatives to ebay, and this can be as good as any I hope.)

Yeah, tried that. Most of the mags and papers are owned by MCN's parent group, and they won't run ads as it is too close to what they do.

I was actually willing to give them over a grand for the privilege as well!!

I'm a racer as well, so it's a couse close to my own heart.

That's about it I think apart from the electronic PV assembly.

Use the site to post a "wanted" ad, seen it on ebay a few times. Just ask people not to bid. Very Happy

I'm the one who posted a thread about this site. I think I'll put a few bits on then and also use ebay as well.

If it keeps racers on the track it's gotta be worth a try Thumbs Up
