Clutch cable adjusting...

Silly question but i'm gonna ask anyway..

With the bike on the centerstand clicking into first gear with the clutch pulled all the way in, the wheel is being driven... does this mean my clutch needs adjusting then?

No, mine does that as well, and in neutral (engine on). No idea why.

You've got plates spinning at a stupid rpm withing in milimeters of each other... if they don't touchslightly, it's probably going to be enough to turn the oil, which will inturn move the adjoining plates.

Nothing to worry about, providing when you rev the engine with the clutch in at a standstill (no brakes) it doesn't pull then.

Ahhhhh, that makles allot more sense

Though it was weird because there seemed to be plenty of free play

Good stuff, think i'll try out me new controll cable lube stuff while i'm fiddleing though...

Yep, the important thing is you've got a bit of slack in the cable when released.
