I don't know what's wrong with me Crying or Very sad The bike itself wheelies fine, it's geared quite high but still powers up in 2nd, I just don't know why I've lost the plot Crying or Very sad Guess a bit more practice and I might get back into the swing of things. Just really pissing me off! Ah well, least it sounds nice and looks good Laughing

From the video it just looks like you're not using enough throttle to launch it. I think it's called i-dont-want-to-break-my-shiny-new-bike syndrome Embarassed Wink

Yeah I think that's what the problem is... I used to clutch the WR as well.. whereas the shiney new KTM is a tad "feisty" Shocked so I am trying to learn to power it up again Confused Shocked Mad

Going out again tomorow with zxr400er and hopefully I'll get my self over the "who cares if you flip it" stage again Laughing

As soon as you get that arrow exhaust fitted it will sound amazing!
The silencer on it just now looks and aounds pretty weedy.

The wheelies aren't that bad since the rear fender is still intact.

If the engine's a bit fiesty a gently clutch up should be better.

A power wheely starts slow and gets high faster the higher you get.

While a clutch wheely starts fast, but once the clutch bit is over can go up slower.

So a small clutch to start it off should lead to more gentle wheelies.

Phil, ahh I see Wink

G, yeah I got used to clutching the WR up in 2nd, despite many people telling me it was a stupid idea Laughing I think it's just a case of getting used to the KTM - spose' I can't just jump on and wheely like I did on the WR Crying or Very sad

Smoto, feck off Razz Going out again tomorow so should get some better footage Wink

After consideration, I have decided not to compare it to Aprilia18's video as that would be /too/ unfair.

Sounding more and more like Mr 18 Razz.

I really need some practice wheeling.
Last time was on various mini bikes... and before that on my slippy clutched DR Sad.
