clutch getting tight

I have a honda bros and i have come to have play on it for the first time in nearly 2 weeks and the clutch cable is getting tight is there anything i can do apart from changing the cable?

Oil the cable. Take it off, hang it vertically and make a contraption to funnel oil down the tube thing which surrounds the metal cable.

Pour oil down so it drips down and through the length. Overnight is a good idea.

How do you get a clutch cable off? Is it alot of work?
