That's what I was afraid of. As we doubt it's restricted, are you sure you're not drilling something required to hold teh exhaust together .
Might be worth getting some pictures and posting them up. |

You can get an angle grinder from homebase for £11.99 then the grinding disc is about £2.50, Why fath about with anything else when you can just brutalise it!
As above dremel bits are pretty useless without a dremel! and drill bits can be expensive if you are buying a few decent ones
I assume you are just getting the metal sleeve off that is round the exhaust or something? |

When done on the NSR, the welds are inside the exhaust, where it connects to the cylinder. Therfore an angle grinder would be a tad overkill . |

I am not too sure what he is actualy doing to the exhaust though, so thought I would suggest it. |

It would have to include cutting the exhaust in half if you were using the angle grinder ...
This is what it's like on the nsr:

Ah I see, I thought he was messing around with the other end of the exhaust. So yeah, forget the angle grinder idea |

He may well be, which may explain how a 4 stroke 125 is 'restricted' . |

G the end of a comet exhaust has three welds that hold a smaller pipe in place, aparently if you take this tube out its supposed to derestrict it. I don't know if this works or not? I won't be doing it to mine as I want it standard and unchanged because I will be selling soon SV650 here I come |
