Oh woe is me, I love riding, wish there was a ride out possibly near me or maybe a meet, show, anything!!!!!.
Most of them seem more than 60 miles away.
Anyone help me out?
I’m Cheltenham in case you didn’t know.

Thanks

OK, you live in Cheltenham.

We could organise something in between say Bristol? Could possibly head into SouthWales over the Brecon Beacons or something. Just a suggestion...

Killa, what are you riding at the moment?
A 60 mile trip to a ride out on a 50cc thing might be a bit much, but anything of a reasonable size shouldn't be a problem Shocked

He has a V4 VFR400R NC30.

I might be up for that one day later in the year. Killa, you going to MotoGP? Jon and I are riding up there together, could meet on the way! Fairly long rideout! Cool

I get what your saying, but whats the problem with riding more than 60 miles. For a day out its a bit much mabey, but if its a weekend (especially a long one) then whats the prob with a long ride to get there? I managed 100 mile each way to the last meet I went to on a royal enfield with a increasingly nackered head gasket. If I can manage that on the heap of junk I call a bike im sure you can on a VFR.

When I go to Boxhill it takes me about an hour to get there. It used to trake two hours on his NSR and he still went regularly.

Kids these days have no sense of adventure.

Just glad there seem to be some hardcore '100+ miles on a CG' types on the forum, otherwise nobody would ever get anywhere!

Come to Cadwell Park in a few weeks time, there's racing on the 29th and 30th (Sunday and bank holiday Monday) and a ESS Pace Day on Tuesday 31st. £12 a day to get in at the racing, free camping and free to watch on the pace day though. Should be lots of BCF people there.

So what's the excuse? Razz

Nah, I always reckon its more interesting if there's a bike meet a fair distance from you. Problem with the one down the road from is that, although its good, its only about 5 miles down the road. Might pop up to boxhill or somewhere like that when the test is passed. Rolling Eyes
