What's wrong with the stock one that's worth spending 100's to fix? Confused

Dunno about aftermarket exhausts, I've got an NSR with a standard one on and it does me okay - still i might have a new one as well as i've got a fair bit of corrosion on mine :S.

I know a guy who had an arrow bolt on exhaust on his.

Just spent £300 getting the engine fixed after it partially seized (or something, i wasnt there at the shop thats fixing it, nor am i a mechanic) and the mechanic said it could be something to do with the exhaust and not sorting out the jetting or something like that.

But all i know is that i seen NSR - Exhaust - £300 Bill

Whats the reason for you deciding to buy it ? The general consensus on the board, from what I've seen on the topic, seems to be lots of dosh for proportionately little reward. Sad

Or you could save up and buy a faster bike.
But then you'll have to buy an aftermarket exhaust for that cos they sound better. Laughing

Isn't the standard exhaust zoomy enough for you? I believe that there's not much more performance to be had from an aftermarket system - proof is that my friend resorted back to his standard system after use - some ruff rydas used to ride NSR's in my college - 3 of them - safe people, but shit bikers.

For about the same money as an aftermarket Arrow/ Jollymoto pipe, you could probably get a 160cc big bore kit. This would give your bike a far greater increase in power than any aftermarket system would.

the best pipes for the NSR125 would be jolly moto or arrow but they are expensive £120-140, also you would have to change the main jet in the carb up a few sizes.

l had a Nikon pipe whic was completey shit, fairings would,nt fit back on correctly with the pipe which melted the lower section of the fairing, and there was no support for the endcan which snaps off after a few weeks due to the vibration and nothing supporting the weight of the endcan.
