Should be working on it as normal on the NABD stand.

Not sure if I'll be there Sat/Sun or just Sunday, depends on babysitters.

Cheers,

Byrnie.

Does anyone have any further info...
...manufacturers, displays, offers, etc.?

Interested in going to try and sit on a few bikes to see what fits/appeals. Helps if they're all together under one roof rather than having to visit individual dealers (and getting hassled by sales staff).

Have found this link - https://www.bikeshowseurope.com/manchester.htm - but can't see what appears to be a mini on 2 wheels has to do with a bike show Confused

Looks like we'll be there both Saturday & Sunday this year Thumbs Up

The mini on 2 wheels is part of the stunt show. I may get to see it this year (only been doing the show for the last 6 years + 1 back at the Evening News Arena in 1997).

Cheers,

Byrnie.

I'll be there with a few of my mates on the Saturday. Will be my first bike show, anyone want to give some hints as to what I can expect? Wouldn't want to turn up with just the entrance fee to find that there's loads of great kit, bikes and other stuff going cheap.

Well its only a few days a way and I hope people are still going?

I Myself shall be going on the Saturday if anyone cares to join me, and if anyone wishes to ride into Manchester they and they wish to meet up the can do so at my house as I said I am only 20 mins ride from the G-mex and I'm not too far from the M6 so it makes it a good base to start from.

If anyone is interested let me know.

Well I've been so busy setting up today I didn't get chance for a good look around, but I can tell you that Honda, Yamaha and Triumph all definitely have stands, as do a few local dealers, so there are plenty of bikes to sit on.

There's loads of good gear around too, and the stunt show looks like it's going to be a killer!

I may be able to lay hands on some concession-priced tickets if anyone is interested, please pm me for details, or if you are set as a friend please ring me.

I am on the Bikersweb stand now that it's back in the control of my friend Tigger (long story) which is on the right as you go in, behind the Triumphs. Come and say hello (and bring chocolate Praying !)

Will be there at 11.30 today. Doubt there will be many shows on seeing as most people should be in work but it also shouldnt be too busdy so I should get more chance to sit on the bikes. Will come and look for you Babyyam. Will be just me (Rick) and my mate Stuart. Probably going to come again on Sunday with some of my biker mates (car today, look at the weather).

Try the simulator at the Honda stand. Good fun. Enough bikes to sit on, to be honest I thought there would be more though (this was my first time at a bike show). Not much of an outdoor stunt show because of the rain, just watched some guy do a few wheelies and attempting burnouts. I guess it would be the same today because of the wind.

Good day out, lots of decent prices if there's anything you want or need. I'll post a few videos and pics later.

Well I decided to give today a miss, after setting off at 9:30am to make it there for 10am, I nearly got caught out about 10 times before I even got to Eccles.

So I decided not to go and ended up turning back, hopefully I should be going tomorow, if this bloody wind dies down.
