PRIME

Use this when you've ran out on ON and are switching to reserve. Put on PRI for 4 seconds or so and then onto reserve

Leave it on the ON position when parked up. Smile

Have fun on it

You are lucky.

My CB500's fuel guage kicks in when the engine stops running. Usually happens when trying to overtake on the motorway :/

Getting good at flicking it onto reserve without loasing too much speed now :o

Ahh.

Re-reading the post, the fuel tap would make more sense. Smile

Theres nowt wrong with the handling, the ER5 will scrape the pegs on the deck, no problem.

I love riding Andy's, its SO much lighter to handle and quicker to change direction that my CBR1000, no it hasnt got the go that mine has when you get it up to 8,000rpm, but I am seriously considering getting myself one. Rolling Eyes

YAY! Another one, welcmoe to the club! Wink

I love mine, it seems to read my mind and turn where I want it to, so nice and easy to handle. Sometmies a bit too nimble, but I like that.

Not another one! Rolling Eyes

God, I never knew I was such a trend setter..........

Enjoy it mate.

Although I must add, I don't find the handling particularly good, but then I'm comparing it to my NSR, which handles great being a sportsbike. But when you get up to speed I find it slow to turn in. Slower speeds yes it does turn quickly.

To be honest I'm getting bored with mine already. But saying that it's almost a year since I got it, so feel an upgrade coming very soon, all money dependant of course.

600 sports here I come....

"bored with mine already"

Yeah, every owner tends to say they have this trait - the engine is just missing character I find. I'm bored with mine but because I know whats good for me, I'm going to keep it until next october, whence on the 15th, I decide to take my DAS (can't be bothered waiting another year for restriction to be up) and have a gander at possible bikes to buy in november (when I get, hopefully, 1NCB)

Acid, mark rather - I can tell you're going to get a kawa zx-6r aren't you Very Happy

Myself, if I knew what was good for me, I'd go for a naked 600, but early insurance quotes(10 months early Wink) point to a Kawasaki zxr120....eddie lawson rep Smile

Thinking so.

CBR seems the sensible option. But I'm fed up with sensible - I'm going balls out on my next bike.

I love the look of the new Ninja, but money isn't on my side, so I'm thinking it's defo going to be an older model.

Although, if I can't get one for my budget (whatever that will be) then I'll take my pick from what's going when the time comes.

I have considered the Fazer.

But having a naked bike already the Fazer just isn't enough of a step up, if you see what I mean.

I want a revvy sportsbike!!!

Plus I am hoping to get over to Knockhill and have a go on a few track days this year, so want something capable (ie sportsbike).
