I've got a Piaggio NRG moped with standard forks but for some reason today when I was getting ready to go out they feel really light.
Like when I brake with the front only the whole suspension goes down, obviously it comes back up again fine.
I'll also note the conditions are very windy and wet here aswell although I've ridden in worse conditions before.

Also if I sit on the bike then put my feet on the group and stand up then put my weight on the dash of the bike I can push the forks all the way down.

I haven't had a near crash, haven't done any wheelies or bumped it up any kerbs as of late so I'm a little confused.

The forks always had some black oil on them like they was leaking but not a lot about the size of a 1p piece and defiantly no drips just some light oil marks. It was serviced 2000km ago.

Also I don’t know if there’s even anything wrong with it .
You’re probably all thinking WTF now, Just I’ve never known them to go down like that to be honest I’ve never taken much notice but once I felt it today obviously it plays on my mind and I may have built it up to be worse than it is or even invent the problem.

Lack of fork oil.

Undo the bleed screw and push down on the forks to empty out all he old oil, then refill from the top with the correct amount.

If its lost oil its either due to your bleed screw not sealing properly, or due to leaking for seals.
