At £25 i thought one of the ebay alarms would be worth a try, if it turns out to be a load of rubbish, oh well... It came on Friday and i had a quick breeze over the wiring diagram and it doesnt seem too difficult. Im fitting this to an NSR125, and the bit the im questionning is wiring it to the ignition coil.

1) Im taking it from the diagram that im wiring the alarm in before the ignition coil (note 1 on diagram), so i would have to the cut the cable leading to the coil (not the HT lead, i know that) then wire the alarm into the gap?

2) Does anybody know where the indicator wires for the NSR run from? Im assuming its in amongst all the electrics that are near the carb/servo motor...

Any help would be much appreciated, or if anybody has the patience of a saint and would be willing to walk me through on MSN i would be even more grateful Very Happy Cheers -

hi

i had exactly the same problem wen fitting a cheeta alarm to my old ts50. the diagram is not that great.
the only way we found was trial and error. lol, nt much help really.
but when fitted the alarm was vry gd and gave no trouble. we used scotch locks to connect the alarm, i wouldnt recomend.

on my nsr 2003, the indicator wires on under the seat, im pritty sure you only have to connect the alarm to the indicator wires at any place, thats all we did on the ts.

good luck
