Hi, first what kit...

The BEST kit to get is the malossi MHR relica kit

this kit will give you speed AND reliablility

DONT GET SOME CHEAP CAST IRON KIT, ONLY GO FOR AN ALLOY CYLINDER!!!

NEXT....this is very important (unless yo want the bike to seize!)
GET THE BIKE JETTED correctly!

with standard carb, pipe, filter you will likely need about a 75-85 mainjet, get a few and use the best one (choccy brow sparkplug)

Also dont let anyone put you off! a properly set up 70dna will piss on any 50 and should do a genuine 60-65 without the gear up kit!! thats about 85 on the speedo LOLOL

good luck

ok i just read ur other post!

sorry SIMON but he is wrong about the clutch, there is no point in buying another one! the standard piaggio unit is perfectly good (better with the zx clutch springs in it)

also an open filter is a waste of time on such a small carb, there isno point on a 50/70 unless ur reaching race tune on a 25 mil carb!

i would get a gear up kit also otherwise u will be constantly raggin the engine (and you should se a TRUE 70mph on the flat and you will have about double the original (derestricted) power

get your bits off scooter-centre.com if you want value, or support the british scene by paying a little more with www.taffspeed-racing.co.uk

labour should be about 80 quid max including setting up the jetting, but some places will rip u off!
where do you live?

Just curious, are you 17? If not then it will be illegal. You may be aware but just remember the risks involved. Thumbs Up
