I have been informed that the people who did the pace day at snetterton really enjoyed it. Whilst browsing the interweb I noticed that the european superbike school are running 2 pace days at cadwell park in may, one on the 12th which will be ran the same as the one before and a special one on the 31st.

Pace Day Special
NEW!

All the benefits of a normal PACE DAY but with the added bonus of even more value for money. PDS's explore new formats for the industry wiping away all the problems associated with track Days, including the price!

I will be doing one of these, my decision will depend on which one people are more interested in doing, I would like to do the special one though. Wink

Yes I know its quite a while away yet but I got all excited and no there isn't a price set for it yet.

I'm there.

If it's cheap, I might even do both. Shocked

Forgive my ignorance - what's a "pace day" ? How does it differ from a normal "track day" ?

Hi

Should be along to watch as well. Might do a track day there, but it is too good a circuit for taking pictures.

Hopefully have a new camera long before then as well.

All the best

Keith

I've just spoken to european superbike school on the phone, both days are £99, they do not want track day novices to be going on the 31st though, something about because they have a seperate mini mono group it isn't suitable for n00bs. I would assume because they have an extra group on that day they're just trying to reduce the risk of someone crashing and costing people track day time.

They also gave me the whole sales pitch about how they will have more marshalls, first aid something or other and riding clinc to get advice on the track at both events and this is how they will be running things all year.

Sounds good to me, I will definetly be at the one on the 31st but want to try and do both if I can afford it when it comes to the time, either way I have the time for both booked off work. For those put off doing the 31st because its a tuesday if your place of work is like mine then you're off on the 30th anyway, bank holiday. Very Happy

Should be fine with me. I might well wander along to both for pics. Intending to have a 20D by then.

All the best

All the best

I should be able to go. (depending on work time off)
And people should be able to stop at mine the night before ,providing the house isn't destroyed while the extension is built. (Not sure when the building is starting now).

You might want to come to one of the southern circuits first dude, got to be at least 100 miles less journey for you. Cadwell's a schlepp even from London. Smile

That's a good idea. Smile

Only a few circuits round this area, it kinda sucks. Sad
